I started Shnoozles during a stretch of night shifts that blurred together. Around 3 a.m., when the calls slow down and the playlists start repeating, I’d find myself scrolling through weird corners of the internet—old forums, forgotten blogs, strange little stories that never made it anywhere big. After a while, I figured I might as well start keeping track of the things that caught my attention.
Most of what I write comes from that same habit. It might be something odd I read at work, a random thought that wouldn’t leave me alone on the bus home, or something someone said in passing that stuck longer than it should have. There’s no real system to it, just whatever feels worth putting into words.
I don’t have a grand plan for the site. It’s more like a running collection of things I’d probably be thinking about anyway, whether I wrote them down or not.
